I hope you’re all off to a smashing start on week three. We have lots on this week from celebrating Chinese New Year, to Welfare’s SHAG Week (Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance), to the start of the Six Nations, to electing the first of your 2020/21 JCR Exec!

JCR Exec Elections // Round One – Voting LIVE!

C Card Sign Up in JB’s
The NHS Sexual Health Roadshow is coming to Butler to provide useful information about sexual health and a C-Card sign up session – pop along to their stall in JB’s between for the quick and easy registration process!
A C-Card is a plastic card the size of a credit card that entitles you to free sexual health supplies (such as condoms, lubricant, femidoms and dams) as well as sexual health information, advice, and support until you’re 25. You’ll be able to pick up these supplies from over 200 outlets throughout County Durham and Darlington.

Anyone is welcome to come along, we’ll be finalising plans for the Chinese New Year Festival (do come along to the meeting or get in touch if you would like to help day!), discussing international week and generally having a nice chat!

Come down to the bar and bring your friends along to celebrate the year of the rat! It will be a lively evening full of cultural learning and fun! There will be food, performances, and lots of opportunities to try new things out!

24 Hour Cricket
“24 hour cricket is back! JBCCC are once again playing 24 hours of cricket, starting from 9am on Friday 31st January, and all through the post Klute hours until the following morning.
After last years incredible success, we have chosen to again raise funds for Alexandra’s Awareness Campaign. This is a cause which is incredibly close to us at JBCCC and aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and suicide.
