Hi everybody,

First week of exams down – well done all of you! I hope that all of your assessments are going well and that you managed to make some time for yourselves and are taking regular breaks. You’ve got this!

We are coming into week number two of Welfare Committee’s Take A Break Campaign – I do hope you are taking heed.

I for one thoroughly enjoyed the end of the alpaca call that I caught, and I hope those of you that joined the call did too! My cheeks were hurting from grinning at these adorable dorky little animals. There were so many of them! If you missed them this week worry not, they’ll be back later in the campaign.

~~~~Sooooo what’s on this week?~~~~
Monday 18th May
Stash Order is still open
We have BRAND NEW DESIGNS, you can even get them SHIPPED TO YOUR HOUSE.
Stash will close on 29th May.
LINK HERE: https://jbc.secure-decoration.com
Please read this important information from Emily on Graduate Stash and Covid 19!
Stash can either be (a) delivered to college as usual in a batch delivery, however this will not be able to be collected or sent out until things go back to normal, or (b) delivered to your home with an additional shipping charge.
Please check regular stash as well as graduate stash for graduate options. All designs should have the option to have “Durham University Graduate 2020” on the back!
Also please show your parents/guardians/grandparents etc the stash, as I’m sure they may want some kind of mug or something to remember your pending graduation!
We have loads of new designs thanks to Katy Bowmer, Lillie Fitzsimons, Sam Winder bringing my designs and their own ideas to life! So a massive thank you once again!
New: Flower Designs, Pride Designs, Mound Designs, Tea and Toast Designs, Windbreakers, Bobble Hats and More!
Please check out the instagram account @josephine_butler_stash for any guidance and real life images!
Better yet, follow in Lorna’s footsteps: have your friends been dishing up some questionable dinners in the kitchen the last few terms? Was the self-catered experience perhaps not for them? Snake your friends by sending in a snap of their rogue meals with a description (I’ll keep you anonymous).
Have a brilliant week! It culminates in another bank holiday weekend here in the UK and well deserved!
Best of luck to each and every one of you.
Whilst we aren’t in the office, we are still here for you whenever you need us. We can chat over Facebook/Teams/Zoom/Email/Instagram, you name it. Thank you all for your continued enthusiasm and positivity in these strange times. And if you ever want anything in the weekly email just message me or any of the exec!
