Livers-Out Committee and Housing Support
Who are we?
We’re Butlers’ Livers-Out Committee, a group dedicated to 1) providing housing advice and support for Butler students looking for accommodation outside of college and 2) providing support to all livers-out, helping them to feel connected to college and its community.
What exactly do we do?
We organise Livers-Out Week and Housing Week throughout the year, where we hold social brunches, drop-in sessions (working closely with Welfare), housing talks, social media information posts, and we also compile and distribute a housing guide, providing information about housing areas, prices, bills, info on deciding who to live with, and so much more! Our committee is passionate about helping others through the stressful house-finding period, and are all too aware of the isolation that can be felt when choosing to live outside the tight-knit community of Butler, and therefore want to use our knowledge and experience to help ease this process.
Want the inside scoop on housing? Maybe you’re a Liver-Out looking to make the most of being a part of Butler? Landlord issues? ‘How on earth do I sort my bills’? Want to meet new people? If any of these apply to you follow our social media to keep up to date with info posts, event details and so much more!
